Many Happy Returns!

I'm so excited! And I just can't hide it! I'm about to lose control and I think I like it!

Hiya! This week is a very special week. Wanna know why? Huh? Huh? Huh? Aside from it being Martin Luther King Day today (what a great man), tomorrow Flash returns!!!! Then Arrow returns on Wednesday! My excitement makes sense now right? I've only been waiting for weeks to see what the heck happened to Oliver and what the heck Wells is doing with that Reverse Flash suit. Knowing CW though, my questions won't even be answered until the next season.

With great episodes, comes great trailers. Here's the one for Flash!
It's called Revenge of the Rogues. The Rogues!! That means Captain Cold, Heat Wave, Pied Piper, the Top and more! Although, I'm not sure they are going to include Captain Boomerang because he was in Arrow and The Flash is not supposed to have any more crossovers with Arrow for a while. Either way, I am way too excited for this episode.

Here's the one for Arrow!
Oliver is not dead. I just...I am just going to leave it at that.

Peace, love, DC!

Rogues' Gallery

Happy New Year! I'm a little late but better late than never I guess. Gotham was the first to return in the new year with new episodes. Rogues' Gallery wasn't much. It basically just reminded everyone what happened in the first part of the season since their last episode was ages ago during Thanksgiving week. Gordon is working as a security guard in Arkham Asylum which greatly deserves its name because it is full of the insane. Ivy showed up again and she went with Cat to stay in Gordon's house. Barbara is still away with her anger and resentment towards Gordon which honestly I do not think is justified. He didn't do anything wrong. He never does anything wrong; it's Jim Gordon. Pshh.

Maroni made Penguin get arrested because of his hubris, raising taxes on fishermen. He's just looking for ways to feel like he's the boss at this point. Butch, on the other hand, he's losing some of his nerves. He shot his childhood best friend right in the head for proposing that he come over to his side in taking down Falcone and becoming the new Don. I mean please, we all know Fish is going to assume the position.

The evil mastermind here was Jack Gruber. He electroshocks people into minions basically. Sometimes they become brain dead, others go around quoting Shakespeare. Now he's out in the world about to go create an army I suppose. Jim's going to have to deal with that. I just want him to get his job back.

The highlight of this episode is the ending when they played In the Still of the Night by Five Satins. I really love that song. If you don't know it then here it is:

There is also a Boyz II Men cover:

Have a good day my darlings!

P.S. It's 3 weeks into the new year but if you made any new year's resolutions in that time, feel free to share them with me!
